That really isn’t what I meant, though I agree with you. I’m a guitar player who picked up bass a few months ago, and I feel I am almost as good at bass as I want to ever be. I play ska/reggae, and having a solid groove that isn’t flooded with notes is key.
I do want to keep getting better at guitar, however. That’s why I was discouraged that this bass player is faster on bass than I am on a guitar.
i agree, or when bass players try to take over the band……bassist need to learn thier role in a band. thats why when i play, i stay at a certain volume with a certain tone and key
Ive never ever liked Peavey anything, after seeing Johnny play, Im sold, Im selling my marshalls and line 6’s. JH is the best ever player…in the world.
