Johnny wrote this song for my cousin Cudgie, Mel Waycott, of Princeton, Maine. You can see Cudgie in a few of my other videos. Cudgie had a country show on TV in the Portland, Maine area for many years. He also had several TV appearances throughout Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut and other New England states. Cudgie passed on some years back but his memory still lives.
