Fills a need
I recently took advantage of the Amazon Gold box Deal and bought the particular Panasonic TCP42G25 and acquired this sound bar for free. This was exactly what I was required to replace a poor quality Olevia TELEVISION in my bedroom. we’ve a fully decked available audio/video room already so all i wanted was something decent for any bedroom. After some tweaking in addition to rewiring, I was in a position to integrate this with the revolutionary Panasonic Plasma, an old Panasonic Blu-Ray DMP-BD35, and also a low end Dish community VIP211. The big puzzle was a bug in the Dish receiver that caused it to do not deliver Dolby 5. 1 with the HDMI cable. I took selling point of the second HDMI input for the soundbar with an optical input in order to resolve this problem. Bottom brand, no new wires, no new A/V recipient and fantastic sound from the very simple setup. it is easy to do a “side-by-side” comparison because Panasonic’s VieraLink will certainly return the sound returning to the TV if a person turn the soundbar off of. What a difference! I am only giving the unit 4 stars due to lack of some, many people feel, basic functions being missing. Why would Panasonic not put simple bass and treble controls on the unit that retails pertaining to $349? Other than of which, I am really enjoying the fresh setup.

works ok
this came free with my own new TV, but managed to get a 7. 1 surround for your new TV, so used this for that bedroom TV, which I thought needed a audio system anyways.
Note the connectors. you’ll need either an optical sound recording cable or HDMI. oh yea, you had stereo available or something else? ignore it. My older online video media recorder had optical, so i purchased the cable and it works fine. I had also tested which has a cable box driving HDMI which works well.
